Vanessa is the principal of Vanessa Simon Mediation. She is a family lawyer, family dispute resolution practitioner (FDRP), a nationally accredited mediator and a trained parenting coordinator.
Vanessa commenced legal practice in 1991 specialising in family law. In 2008 she obtained a graduate diploma in family law mediation and her accreditation as an FDRP. She commenced private practice in 2009 and has exclusively provided family dispute resolution (FDR) services for the past 12 years, gaining extensive experience in that field.
Vanessa understands that the conflict that inevitably arises following a family breakdown presents particular challenges. Vanessa is dedicated to assisting families address those challenges and to resolve their parenting, financial and other family disputes in a respectful, discreet, and practical manner. Her focus is on encouraging her clients to work collaboratively to manage and resolve their conflict. Vanessa has experience in local, national and international FDR.
