About

Vasantha brings a diverse and international background to her boutique practice in dispute resolution. Having qualified as a pharmacist, she travelled the world as a corporate executive within the multi-national pharmaceutical industry. She then studied law in the United Kingdom and has practised as a barrister, advocate, solicitor, now mediator and arbitrator, in several jurisdictions.

Vasantha’s goal is to avoid, minimise and simplify litigation. She has harnessed 40+ years of  international, corporate, and legal expertise to craft a bespoke form of dispute resolution which includes a highly tuned sense of people and human dynamics. Vasantha helps create lasting outcomes, empowering disputants to take back control, move forward and pursue their major objectives.

A passion for teaching, training, and mentoring has led Vasantha to academic and guest roles at the University of New South Wales and Monash University, judging at international moots and competitions, coaching university students in mediation and training mediators. She is also involved with university internship programmes, speaking at conferences, and writing academic and related papers.

Vasantha is on various mediation and arbitration panels. She also undertakes court mandated and party/organisation/institution appointed mediations. Vasantha’s practice is: Stesin Legal.
