Exercising Your Brain to Better Communication

Have you ever noticed how much more efficiently and effectively you deal with a difficult situation if you have exercised earlier in the day? 

There are many reasons why this is the case but one reason is that physical exercise enables us to tap into our “Felt Sense” which is a combination of emotion, awareness, intuitiveness and embodiment.

If you are devoid of a “felt sense” or are disconnected from your physical experience on any particular day, you will have difficulty authentically answering the question: how do you feel today? You may also find it difficult to find that space that enables you to respond rather than react because your thought processes are hijacked by your amygdala.

Why is this important? Because if we aren’t connected with ourselves, we cannot properly connect with those around us and without connection our communication fails to influence.
